Our family at Lion’s Den has selected twenty-four unique Christmas books for your family this season. This collection includes our favorites, especially Christmas stories from past decades that reflect values often lost today. These are the books adults love just as much as the kids!Enjoy the anticipation of the season with beloved Christmas tales, including the original “’Twas the Night Before Christmas” and “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.” Discover beautifully illustrated versions of classic Christmas carols such as “The Twelve Days of Christmas” and “Silent Night.” “The Story of the Orchestra: The Nutcracker,” complete with musical pieces, serves as an introduction to classical music. We even have activity books, including scratch-and-sniff “Sweet Smells of Christmas.” With each page, your family will find the enduring truths, themes, and cultural significance we all know and love. You may want to start your beautiful Christmas library by investing in the full 24 book advent. Or you may want to join along the daily reveal, each with a thoughtful literary analysis, written by “Grammy,” that will contribute to the richness of the treasured book and decide which books of the advent to collect. All 24 books will be carried in the store, while supplies last. If you’d like to be a part of this Lions Den Christmas tradition, click the link below to sign up for a daily literary analysis in your email inbox daily, then head in to see us and pick up your book of the day!Our beloved Grammy has been the chief contributor to compiling our Once Upon An Advent Christmas Book List. She is a mother of four adult children, four bonus spouses, fifteen fantastically unique grandchildren (arrows in her quiver) and a reading teacher to thousands of students, grades K-12 whom she sought to empower and inspire with the gift of reading. She received the book “Thank you Mr. Falker” by Patricia Polocco as a gift more than once with the inscription "Thank you for being (my child's) Mr. Falker. This is a story based on the renowned author, Patricia Polocco's own story of struggling with dyslexia and finally learning to read from Mr. Falker in 5th grade. Grammy’s favorite quote from the book: "the honey is sweet, and so is knowledge, but knowledge is like the bee that made that sweet honey, you have to chase it through the pages of a book."Join us this advent season by signing up below.
