Our family at Lion’s Den has selected twenty-four unique Christmas books for your family this season. She is a mother of four adult children, four bonus spouses, fifteen fantastically unique grandchildren (arrows in her quiver) and a reading teacher to thousands of students, grades K-12 whom she sought to empower and inspire with the gift of reading. She received the book “Thank you Mr. Falker” by Patricia Polocco as a gift more than once with the inscription "Thank you for being (my child's) Mr. Falker. This is a story based on the renowned author, Patricia Polocco's own story of struggling with dyslexia and finally learning to read from Mr. Falker in 5th grade. Grammy’s favorite quote from the book: "the honey is sweet, and so is knowledge, but knowledge is like the bee that made that sweet honey, you have to chase it through the pages of a book."Join us this advent season by signing up below.
